Presentation of my hacked chromebook with submarine#

As you can see here my chromebook is no longer using ChromeOS. It became fully OpenSource (not really though) alt Debian Forky on a ChromeBook

It is using a fresh install of Debian 14 (Forky) on the main disk using Submarine By Fyralabs and By using GoodSilver by AerialiteLabs (soap-phia).

Btw, if you’ve remarked this : I didn’t use MrChromebox firmware for the only reason to restore CrOS on it if needed

How to install (in my manners)

To install submarine flash the submarine.bin file into an external micro sd card then proceed to boot Debian with the sd card in the chrome book and a Debian Install USB (CTRL+U boot) and partition manually the disk to mount ‘/boot/efi’ for GRUB and ‘/’ for the System partition

Warning

GoodSilver and Quicksilver hacks are not usable at kv7 (and you cannot downgrade to v142) and you are taking the risks of getting exposed by the Google Admins (don’t do this exploit unless you what you are doing, no really don’t do it I know you are reading it…)
